Jaimie McNamee
Youth Pastor for Highway 101 Leader
Originally from Lakeville MN, Jaimie is the youngest of 7 kids! Growing up, she was very involved with her church’s youth group, and the Lord truly revealed Himself to her in high school –  she began to take her faith into her own hands. The word ministry was mentioned to her during her senior year of high school. Although she never saw herself pursuing any type of schooling after high school, she was planning on doing missions work after graduation. But as we all know…the Lord works in mysterious ways. Months before her high school graduation, she received a scholarship offer letter from the University of Sioux Falls Track and Field team, asking to come and be a thrower on the team. She had never even heard of Sioux Falls, SD, before that! She is so glad that she decided to go on that visit…she fell in love with the school and the city!
Fast forward 5 long years later, she has accomplished way more than she ever thought she would when setting her sails for Sioux Falls. She graduated with a double major in Theology and Youth Ministry and Psychology, not to mention an incredible collegiate track and field career!
Jaimie has been serving as the Youth Pastor at The Point since July 2022. She is so grateful to be a part of a church and a body of people who so authentically love the Lord! Jaimie looks forward to the work the Lord has in store for her!
Kaia Hedrick
Kaia is a lifelong Sioux Falls resident with a deep love for people. She has loved the heart of The Point since its inception and is excited to partner with kids and families through KidsServe! Kaia’s greatest desire for her daughter is that she would know Jesus; and that’s her hope and prayer for the KidsServe ministry at The Point – that through every wonderful volunteer, each fun, interactive Sunday lesson, and all of the special events throughout the year would ultimately point kids to Jesus. Kaia likes playing at parks with her husband and daughter, going on walks, doing graphic design, drinking chai lattes, and helping people buy and sell houses as a licensed realtor. She is thrilled to be part of the team at The Point!
